Gumbo Limbo out, Christmas Palm in

Tuscany Village  has commenced on a project to replace all Gumbo Limbo trees in the community with Christmas Palms (Veitchia merrillii) due to whitefly infestation. The Gumbo Limbo's have been cut and stumps grinded. Check back for updates once the palms are planted.

If you walk across the street to the Nursery, the nice folks at Amaro might even deliver your items to your doorstep on one of their golf carts.

South Kendall CDD Buys Tuscany Village Clubhouse

According to a recent mailing from the South Kendall Community Development District , effective July 28, 2010, the District will be the owner of the Clubhouse facilities within Tuscany Village. As a result of the purchase, Tuscany homeowners will no longer pay the monthly club fee to Tuscany Village Club Holding LLC. That fee will now be included in the District's non ad valorem assessment collected with the annual property taxes.

Sign of the Times


Lennar has slashed their prices on the remaining developer units at Tuscany Village. The "2" on the sign used to be a "3". There are a number of resale homes available at below cost creating an excellent opportunity to move into this west Kendall community.
